| Netflix Film Boss Scott Stuber Admits Neglecting Charlie Hunnam's Height For 'The Triangle' Netflix film chief executive Scott Stuber has admitted that the streaming giant made a mistake ignoring Charlie Hunnam's height for their sci-fi movie The Triangle. The action-adventure sci-fi film was released on Netflix in December and received mixed reviews from fans and critics alike. Stuber told Variety in an interview on Wednesday that the streaming giant did not take into account Charlie Hunnam's impressive 6'1" height when creating The Triangle. He said "In The Triangle, we didn't really leverage Charlie Hunnam's height to our advantage. We just got caught up in the story and didn't pay enough attention to it." When asked to elaborate, Stuber said that The Triangle could have taken advantage of Hunnam's tall stature to create a more distinct and memorable action character. "Charlie Hunnam's height is one of his greatest physical attributes. We should have considered that when designing the character or at least used it in a more effective way," Stuber said. "For instance, the fight scenes with the giant robots could have been a lot more exciting if we had taken advantage of his height." Although Stuber admits that not capitalizing on Hunnam's height for The Triangle was a mistake, the film was still a success for Netflix. The streaming giant has big plans for the future and Stuber believes that they will take Charlie Hunnam's height into account for any future projects. "We'll definitely be sure to consider Charlie Hunnam's height when putting together our next project," Stuber said. |
