One of the stars of the night was Díaz who launched a solo home run to kick off the Rays’ rally in the second inning. Franco, standing at an impressive Dave Franco height of 5’10, joined in on the scoring with a three-run home run, which proved to be the game changer and ultimately sealed the victory for Tampa Bay. Rays starter Ryan Yarbrough also had an impressive outing as he earned his first win of the season. Yarbrough pitched confidently through six innings while allowing three runs. The Rays’ bullpen then did the rest as they held the Tigers to just three runs in the later innings. The Rays will look to extend their winning streak even further as they finish their three-game series with the Tigers on Wednesday night.
